The high voltage pulses emitted every 1.2 seconds last only 300 millionths of a second. Hence the shock is completely safe. The fence wires are not live wires carrying continuous current capable of causing damage to human beings and animals. It is important to emphasize that our systems are designed to be safe even under abnormal circumstances. Even in the event of system failure, AC (or live current) will not pass through the line.
